Salient Designs, a division of SportChassis LLC, has evolved its capabilities since its establishment in 1999. Initially specializing in thermoforming for the vehicle conversion industry, our expertise led to the creation of various interior and exterior parts for GM, Ford, and Chrysler vans and pickups.
As the conversion industry underwent nationwide changes, we adapted by focusing on cutting-edge solutions for the growing mobile video sector. Our innovative products, including the exclusive 15.3″ vehicle-specific system for GM SUVs, earned us international recognition.
With a commitment to staying ahead in the mobile video landscape, we honed our focus on major brands, crafting bespoke overhead video system solutions. As original equipment (OE) manufacturers integrated mobile video options, we transitioned to producing A/C Relocation pods for GM SUVs.
Our expansion continued into the Medium Duty Truck Conversion sector, providing custom interior products for Freightliner, International, and Peterbilt trucks. These product lines remain integral to our ongoing manufacturing portfolio.
In 2008, we ventured into the Utility Vehicle aftermarket, manufacturing thermoformed tops for Kawasaki TransMule and Polaris Ranger Utility vehicles. Our product range expanded further to include UTV Tops for the Bobcat 3400 series Utility Vehicles, Stereo Kit options for UTV Accessories, and a lineup of LED Auxiliary Lights.
Recent years have witnessed a broadening of our capabilities, encompassing vacuum forming. Today, we offer a diverse range of interior and exterior raw plastic and vinyl-laminated products for the automotive, HVAC, industrial, home, aerospace, and marine industries.
